Sometimes when I feel sad

I look out of the window to see the sky 🌌

This is so true. I like how you emphasized that peace isn't hoping that something won't go wrong, it's knowing how to respond when it does ("practice makes prepared") - that's spot on.

I also applaud your mention that it's not necessarily the event that is so powerful, rather, it's our interpretation of the event. That's one of the things we teach in emotion regulation in DBT. That's one way to effectively regulate your emotions - checking and challenging your interpretation of the event.

Wow as a neuro divergent I'm overwhelmed by all your support and positivity. If only we could all be so generous and genuine. Then we wouldn't need to debate about where peace comes from we'd have found it. Gouranga

Peace is something you find it can't be built in my opinion. Inner peace, world peace two different types of peace. We have to fine within ourselves before we can but anything. Ilike any idea it had to be whole in your mind before your build it in the real world. Unless we find inner peace how can we preach.
